An ESTA waiver is a digital travel authorization that allows citizens of certain countries to travel to the United States for up to 90 days without obtaining a visa. The ESTA waiver program was introduced in 2009 to improve security and simplify the travel process for eligible travelers. Who is eligible for an ESTA Waiver? Citizens of countries that participate in the Visa Waiver Program (VWP) are eligible for an ESTA waiver. The VWP currently includes 39 countries, including Australia, Canada, Japan, and most countries in Western Europe. To be eligible for an ESTA waiver, travelers must: Have a valid passport from a VWP country Intend to travel to the Unit
